That First Little Black Dress

So, I've been a little slow with the updates over the past little while... While away at school I did a little more on the Padmé stomacher, the top third is finished and I've started work on the middle and bottom sections.

In other news, I am throwing together a little black dress. The bodice is a sweetheart neckline with princess seams. Short puffy sleeves. A gathered skirt, worn over a crinoline. I basically have three days to make this thing. One and a half days down, I've drafted all my patterns, finished the bodice, one sleeve (with other cut and ready to go) and the crinoline. Not too shabby.
